Our Take
The PETLIBRO Granary is the feeder that lets you game guilt-free. Your cat gets fed on schedule. You get a live camera feed to confirm they are eating and not destroying your apartment. Everybody wins.
Setup is straightforward. Download the PETLIBRO app, connect to your WiFi (supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz), fill the 5-liter hopper with dry food, and set your schedule. You can program up to 10 meals per day with anywhere from 1 to 50 portions per meal. The portions are roughly 10ml each, so a typical adult cat meal is about 5-8 portions.
The camera is the reason this feeder makes our list instead of the dozens of cheaper feeders without one. 1080P with a 145-degree wide-angle lens and night vision. You open the app, tap the live view, and see your cat eating. Or sleeping. Or staring at the wall. The 2-way audio lets you talk to them, which some cats react to and others completely ignore.
The low food sensor sends a notification when the hopper is running low. The blockage sensor alerts you if kibble gets jammed in the chute. Both of these matter if you are relying on the feeder while away for a weekend.
The practical complaints from real owners: the initial WiFi pairing can take multiple attempts. The motor makes a noticeable whir when dispensing, which startles some cats the first few times. The hopper lid is not locked, so a determined cat can learn to pry it open. The app occasionally loses connection and needs to be force-closed and reopened.
For the price point, this is the best balance of camera quality, feeding reliability, and app features. The dual-tray version (B0B5ZJS7XC) is available if you have two cats.

Why We Like It
The 1080P camera with night vision means you can check on your cat mid-game without getting up. The 2-way audio lets you tell them to stop knocking things off the counter. Up to 10 meals per day with portion control from 1-50 portions per meal. Low food and blockage sensors send alerts to your phone.

Things to Know
The app can be finicky during initial WiFi setup, especially on 5GHz networks. The food hopper holds about 5L which lasts roughly a week for one cat. The camera quality is fine for checking on your pet but will not replace a real security camera. Some users report the motor is audible when dispensing.
